Atlas, Connects People to Knowledge - and is launch partner for Project Cortex

Connecting People to Knowledge has never been more important.

Announced at Microsoft's global partner conference, Inspire, on July 21 2020, ClearPeople is immensely excited to be part of Microsoft's launch of Project Cortex. Part of the Microsoft Content Services, Project Cortex is the first major new service release in Office 365 since Microsoft Teams and represents a significant milestone for Microsoft as well as the wider industry.

With the release of Project Cortex (official name still to be announced) later this calendar year, Microsoft is bringing together years of development, research and product programs into a cloud service that partners and customers can take advantage of for advanced data processing, knowledge and insights.

This is particularly good news for ClearPeople as well as for ClearPeople's Atlas customers. It will help to accelerate the Atlas roadmap to incorporate a range of features underpinned by advanced AI (Artificial Intelligence) services in the Microsoft cloud (Microsoft 365, Microsoft Graph and Microsoft Azure).

Atlas is a people-first digital workspace solution focused on connecting people to knowledge. We are defining our own category of "Knowledge Productivity Platform".

What is a Knowledge Productivity Platform?

Knowledge Productivity Platform (KPP) is a new solution category that helps enterprises make full use of their knowledge through the integration of multiple data sets, across multiple connected collaboration and communication applications. The benefits include a consistent treating of knowledge, while allowing the knowledge to be shared, curated and consumed in context, thereby driving higher use and reuse of knowledge which in turn delivers more and better outcomes.

Larger organisations can take advantage of Atlas to ensure that their users have a consistent entry point to Office 365 applications; that their data is connected through search and consistent taxonomy across many thousands of data repositories; and that "knowledge finds people" in the relevant context of their work.

Atlas enables highly productive use cases by harnessing the knowledge within an organisation.
