This is a new role working with the marketing team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who brings a real passion to succeed and a host of innovative ideas to really make their mark. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in marketing as well as an aptitude for customer service and exemplary writing skills.

 

You will be help to organise events and contribute to our communications strategies. It is a busy role with lots of variety within an environment where you will need to be happy taking responsibility for your own work and a keenness to learn.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist and report to our Marketing Manager
  • Support the delivery of both external and internal communications strategies

  • Devise campaign initiatives with manager

  • Organise customer events and relevant staff social activities

  • Prepare press releases, internal news articles, thought leadership and other content

  • Offer ad hoc support to the department

Experience

  • Proven experience in a marketing role, ideally in B2B
  • High level of written and verbal communication
  • Proficient at writing emails, letters, articles and social media posts
  • Able to eloquently discuss requirements over the telephone both actively and proactively, describing relevant solutions and capturing essential information
  • Understanding of building a sales pipeline
  • Target driven with an ability to build a strong rapport with prospect client contacts
  • Experience of Microsoft Office and Dynamics CRM preferred
  • Interest in technology and digital marketing

  • Adaptable to change and adhoc requests
  • Good at multi-tasking and dealing with multiple stakeholders
  • Working both in a team but also on your own at times 
  • Good communicator (verbal and written)
