We have been supporting two SOS Children’s Villages in South Africa since 2010 and take part in fundraising events for our charity clients we work with.
Since 2009 we have contributed in the form of cash, time and in-kind support. Here's a snapshot of some of our recent charitable activities:
Save the Children, Christmas Jumper Day 2013 to 2018
On December 15th we joined in with Save the Children’s annual Christmas Jumper day, in which colleagues all wore Christmas jumpers and donated. This was the 5th year of the event and the first to be held on the 15th of December. The team raise a couple of hundred pounds every year. Save the Children works in 120 countries. They save children’s lives. They fight for their rights. They help them fulfil their potential.
Alzheimer's Cupcake Sale
We joined the Alzheimer Cupcake day and baked some delicious cupcakes with all the proceeds going to Alzheimer’s Society.
Alzheimer’s Memory Night Walk
Around 225,00 people develop dementia every year – that’s the equivalent to one person every three minutes. Three of our team joined more than 3,000 people to unite against dementia at the Alzheimer’s Memory Night Walk at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on the 14th of October. The team raised over £340 at the walk for Alzheimer’s Society.
Alzheimer’s Society works to improve the quality of life of people affected by dementia in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The society aims to have a world without dementia.
AmnesTea Bake Sale
The idea behind AmnesTea is simple: bake some cakes, get some people together, put the kettle on and raise money for Amnesty International’s human rights work around the world.
The ClearPeople team got their bake on and sold their yummy cakes and pastries.
