This month we have all our Office 365 roadmap content coming fresh from Microsoft's 'Ignite' Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. During the conference Microsoft covered a whole host of upcoming features (the entire article is linked at the bottom) but here's some highlights that stood out to us:
- Advanced Data Governance in Office 365— find, classify, set policies on and take action on the data that is most important to your organization, helping you achieve organisational compliance.
- Threat Intelligence— Threat Intelligence helps you proactively uncover and protect against advanced threats in Office 365. Quickly and effectively enable alerts, dynamic policies and security solutions.
- Microsoft MyAnalytics— MyAnalytics (previously Delve) provides insights to help you understand how you spend your time at work, across meetings, email, time you designate as “focus time” and after-hours work. This way, you can set productivity goals and monitor progress over time.
- Turn data into Maps in Excel— now you can transform geographic data into professional visualizations with just a few steps, using the new Maps chart type in Excel. Powered by Bing Maps, Maps in Excel enable everyday users to create geographic data visualizations that previously required the help of technical experts or expensive external products.
We'll be bringing you more details of all the above and more as we get them, for now you can take a slightly deeper look into each point on the Microsoft Blog.
