This month we're all talking about team work and we're excited to tell you about a major new experience within Office 365— Microsoft Teams. Unveiled at Microsoft's New York City event earlier this month, the chat-based workspace looks to drive new ways of collaborating in your organisation. Alongside that we've also highlighted some key updates in the Office 365 roadmap worth talking about.
Office 365 People Cards
"You’ve probably seen contact cards in Outlook. This update brings intelligent, Delve-like experiences to Office 365 apps (like SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business), right in the context of your work. When you hover over a person’s name or image, people cards expands to reveal contact information, organizational relationships and documents they have been working on."
Team news and apps for Android and Windows phones
"Team news is how you keep up with and broadcast key events and accomplishments with other members of the team and extended stakeholders. You can use team news for things like trip reports, best practices, project updates, highlights of new documents and content, welcoming a new team member, sharing team goals and celebrating milestones."
Introducing Microsoft Teams
"Microsoft Teams is the chat-centered workspace in Office 365. It is a smarter way of working as an essential hub for your chats, content, people and tools to keep the team connected."
