Do you want to see all the different configuration files of uCommerce in one place? With this module, you finally can!

Every Sitecore developer should know about the configuration transformation files under the folder app_config/include.

When Sitecore starts, it merges the files into a single xml using custom transformation attributes to then read its settings. As developers, we create new configuration files hoping that Sitecore understand and acknowledge them. To make our lives easier, Sitecore provides a page to check the results of such transformations so we can view the final result.

uCommerce follows a similar pattern. uCommerce configuration files are stored under \sitecore modules\Shell\uCommerce\Configuration. Here you'll find several files where uCommerce splits its configuration and where, again, we can introduce said changes.

One of the differences is that uCommerce recommends adding any customisation to the file custom.config instead of using our own files. Another difference is that uCommerce does not provide a page to display the combination of different xml files in a single view.

To fill this gap, and with a bit of reverse engineering, I have created this module that is available in the marketplace. The module display's the same xml that uCommerce reads to load its configuration so that you can search in one location within the uCommerce configuration.

Simply install the package on top of a Sitecore instance (tested with Sitecore 8) and uCommerce (tested with uCommerce 6.7) and then visit /sitecore/admin/showucommerceconfig.aspx
