How has your first week been here so far?
Pretty good! Crazy busy. There’s loads I’ve been working on around our Managed Services proposition and refining the services we’re able to offer to our clients to help evolve their business.
Can you tell me about your role here?I’ve come on board as Head of Managed Services. My job is to manage the day-to-day responsibilities and functions that clients outsource to us on an ongoing basis – ultimately to continuously improve the digital workspace experiences for all our clients. We’re able to leverage core skills, services and solutions for our clients on a retained fee and we can provide differing levels of support dependent on clients’ needs and budgets.
With more of our clients leveraging the Cloud, our team of experts are on hand to provide them with assurance that their business systems are in safe hands.
How long have you been in the IT industry?
I’ve worked in IT for about 12 years and actually got my start in IT doing support way back in another life. I then moved from internal IT to Managed Services about five years ago.
What do you love most about your job?
It’s hard to decide what I love most about it! There’s a really good basis here at ClearPeople already and I’m excited to take all of those practices and enhance them based on my previous experience.
If you could offer only one piece of advice to all of your clients, what would it be?
To work in partnership with ClearPeople to become more productive!
What is your philosophy towards your work?
My biggest thing is that it’s really important to be passionate about what you do and to actually believe in it. You spend so much time at work you should believe in what you do.
