PRESS RELEASE
ClearPeople have been working with Law firms since 2007 to implement state of the art document management systems, based on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (SharePoint). The case study, commissioned and produced by Microsoft, affirms ClearPeople’s skill in manipulating SharePoint to address the specific needs of document management within the Legal sector.
Because of their dedication to the end result, ClearPeople have been fondly dubbed ‘The SharePoint People’ by those that have worked with them. They strive to provide a future proof alternative to the incumbent players in this market segment and to promote ClearPeople as specialists in document management in the Legal industry.
Already a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, the case study focuses on work carried out by ClearPeople for Linklaters, an international commercial Law firm. The study demonstrates how SharePoint successfully meets the complex requirements for a document management system in the Legal sector.
Microsoft outlines how ClearPeople successfully deployed a sophisticated document management system, using a combination of SharePoint and WISDOM DMF from ClearPeople’s Australian partner, MacroView. The system was tailored to meet the requirements set by Linklaters and was rolled out to Kinstellar, a Linklaters CEE spinoff and now an independent entity, in just six weeks, to coincide with the launch of the new firm.
The team at ClearPeople understand that a good document management system is business critical to Law firms. This case study firmly establishes that ClearPeople provided the Client with a cost effective and highly functionable document management system.
ClearPeople, SharePoint and WISDOM DMF have proven to be a winning combination. Users of this solution can browse documents in SharePoint libraries in a familiar way, with client/matter centric look-ups in Office applications and Drag & Drop functionality within Outlook.
