Are you ready to take the next step in your career? ClearPeople’s Managed Services team is on the move, are aiming high and currently seek a Technical Architect to join our growing support team.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Act as the Technical Architect on managed services projects, working with the wider team to ensure goals, requirements and approaches are well understood, documented and agreed
  • Act as owner for the technology you are specialised in as Managed Services Technical Architect, setting and leading technology related best practices and design patterns. You will share relevant information with teams and clients as well as via ClearPeople’s blogs. In effect, you will be the “in house” expert and go-to person for your technology specialisation(s) within Managed Services
  • Technical sign off of professional services projects when moving under the Managed Services umbrella 
  • Use Web CMS to model proposed solutions, working alongside UX and Front-End Engineers to continually review in order to reach the right solution 
  • Assist in strategic and pre-sales efforts from a technical perspective, including participating in key customer meetings remotely or on site (UK) 
  • Maintain and improve upon our architectural, development and QA approaches in collaboration with the wider Development and Project Management team 
  • Maintain a portfolio of recommended third party tools, software or code libraries  
  • Work in a team environment with shared code; disciplined use of source code control and process documentation  
  • Work with team to achieve timely resolution of all production issues meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements 
  • Collaborate with management and development teams to prioritise tickets and needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria, or choose solutions  
  • Provide accurate and timely estimates for tasks  
  • Develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business  
  • Troubleshoot production support issues through to resolution

Required Experience

  • At least 5 years job related experience 
  • Web CMS experience such as Sitecore, Kentico or Umbraco, or Front-End experience 
  • Extensive experience as .NET Web Developer with C#, .NET and SQL Server experience 
  • Experience with related technologies such as Azure, HTML, CSS, XSL and JavaScript is also relevant. 
  • Extensive experience in building and delivering a variety of public facing websites and applications using WCMS platforms as Sitecore, Umbraco, Kentico, Sitefinity or similar  
  • Fundamental understanding of WCMS platforms and the ability to identify and evaluate requirements.  
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal) with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, customers and suppliers, and the ability to relate to people with different backgrounds and cultures.  
  • Highly organised with well-developed problem solving, troubleshooting and debugging skills and a demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines  
  • Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively and independently with strong attention to detail  
  • Ability to focus on and understand client needs, anticipate needs and/or situations, and an aptitude for quality service delivery
