WISDOM ClauseBank makes it easy to find, retrieve and insert standard or 'boiler plate' text and graphics into your Microsoft® Word documents. The re-usable content items (clauses) are stored in Clause Libraries within Microsoft SharePoint.
WISDOM ClauseBank runs in Microsoft Word. It displays a menu of available content items ('clauses') which the user can preview and select. ClauseBank then inserts the selected item(s) at the current point in the user's Word document. Previews and inserted items are fully formatted.
The Automatic Expiry Alert feature of WISDOM ClauseBank assists greatly in ensuring that all ClauseBank content is up-to-date. WISDOM ClauseBank maintains usage logs so that you can obtain reports showing the utilisation of the various items in the ClauseBank.
The web-based nature of Microsoft SharePoint means that publishing new and revised content in WISDOM ClauseBank is a simple matter of saving a document from Microsoft Word - all authorised users are then immediately able to view and re-use the new content item, regardless of their location.
